Dear Incoming Student,
as you would know Venice is quite different from the other cities and we try to give some information to find an accommodation.
Venice is composed from a main island, other small islands and other neighbourhoods on the mainland.
Below the different solutions:
1) To stay at Regional Student Residence on the Giudecca Island (Palanca-Zattere) , in Venice city.

Prices are:
Double room with bathroom: € 250 + €20 for general expenses per month
Single room with bathroom: € 300 + €20 for general expenses per month
The students have to provide by their self for bed linen and towels. Pillows, blankets and bed-cover are provided.
The student residence doesn’t have kitchen, only common spaces with tables, microwaves oven, fridge and sinks with faucet. There are agreements with restaurants in all Venice and one very close to the dormitory called “Fortunato Irene”. For Erasmus Students prices are € 4,50 for a Pasto ridotto/Reduced meal (first course or second course, side dish, drink, bread, fruit or dessert) or € 5,50 Pasto completo/Complete meal (first course, second course, side dish, drink, bread, fruit or dessert)
2) Other possibilities are to rent a room in a flat, approximate rental costs are:
For single room from € 250 to 450 a month without expenses
For double room from €180 to 350 a month per person without expenses.
Expenses such as electricity, gas, internet, garbage, water, etc. are commonly from € 30 to € 50 a month (it depends how many people are living in the house).
There is also the possibility to rent a small apartment (one or two rooms). Rental costs are up to € 450 per months without expenses.
